Woodland Pine Tree Pattern, Hand-Drawn Forest Illustration

Living room with a beige sofa, two brown armchairs with orange pillows, a wooden side table with a lamp, wallpaper with pine trees, snowshoes hung on the wall, a mirror, and green door and window frame.

This abstract wavy-line scallop pattern combines modern geometry with a soft, hand-drawn feel. Inspired by coastal waves, layered arches and organic movement, the design brings subtle texture and rhythm to any creative application.

Available in a curated selection of colourways — including teal blue, warm terracotta, honey gold, soft mint, blush, clay, sand and more — this pattern adapts seamlessly to different aesthetics and industries. Makers and designers use it across textiles, wallpaper, stationery, apparel, packaging, home décor, digital products, branding assets and children’s goods.

Its flowing lines and structured repeat allow it to sit comfortably in coastal, modern, Japandi, warm minimalist, seasonal, and geometric collections. Versatile, contemporary and visually calming, this pattern works beautifully for both statement pieces and subtle background designs.

A bit about me

I’m Rachel, a surface designer and mum of three boys, inspired by the quiet pockets of life and the small details that make a home feel like home. I’ve always loved the charm of old 80s high-set beach houses in soft pastels and white, the comfort of coordinating printed bed sheets, and the simple ritual of choosing a cup that matches my mood for a moment of stillness. My sketchbooks and half-filled notebooks follow me everywhere, capturing ideas in the in-between spaces of everyday life.

My designs are created for people who appreciate those same little things, the textures, colours, and memories that shape the spaces we live in. Whether I’m working from early-morning quiet or taking my boys on spontaneous mini escapes, these moments flow into my patterns and collections, giving them a sense of warmth, nostalgia, and gentle coastal calm.

If you’re drawn to artwork that feels personal, thoughtful, and rooted in real life, I’d love to share my designs with you.
