Dense Watercolour Floral Pattern | Coastal, Beach House & Summer

This dense watercolour floral pattern blends soft brushwork with an organic, all-over layout, making it a versatile choice for apparel, home décor, nursery styling and surface design collections. Designed with layered petals and subtle tonal variation, the repeat creates a gentle flow that works beautifully across both small products and large applications like wallpaper, bedding, and curtains.

Makers and interior designers often choose dense florals for their ability to add visual texture without being overwhelming. This design fits comfortably within modern coastal, feminine, romantic, spring-inspired and artisan collections, and transitions well between home décor, fashion and stationery.

Whether you’re sourcing prints for a seasonal release, developing a coordinated range, or building out a signature aesthetic, this floral pattern offers a timeless, artistic look suitable for a wide range of creative projects.

A bit about me

I’m Rachel, a surface designer and mum of three boys, inspired by the quiet pockets of life and the small details that make a home feel like home. I’ve always loved the charm of old 80s high-set beach houses in soft pastels and white, the comfort of coordinating printed bed sheets, and the simple ritual of choosing a cup that matches my mood for a moment of stillness. My sketchbooks and half-filled notebooks follow me everywhere, capturing ideas in the in-between spaces of everyday life.

My designs are created for people who appreciate those same little things, the textures, colours, and memories that shape the spaces we live in. Whether I’m working from early-morning quiet or taking my boys on spontaneous mini escapes, these moments flow into my patterns and collections, giving them a sense of warmth, nostalgia, and gentle coastal calm.

If you’re drawn to artwork that feels personal, thoughtful, and rooted in real life, I’d love to share my designs with you.
